Traditional VOX all tube sound using vacuum tubes in both pre- and power-amps
VOX's traditional tube sound is alive and well on the Night Train G2. The class AB design delivers awesome power, with a preamp containing three 12AX7 tubes and a power amp containing two EL84 tubes on the NT15H-G2/NT15C1 and two EL34 tubes on the NT50H-G2. With the wide ranging Night Train G2 lineup, you'll enjoy distinctively fat tube amp tone in any situation.

GIRTH/BRIGHT two-channel design provides a wide range of tonal character
Each model offers up two channels with a differing tonal character: GIRTH and BRIGHT. The GIRTH channel has a powerful modern high-gain sound that's unparalleled even among VOX amps. It's also ideal for the guitarist who seeks an even heavier sound. The BRIGHT channel provides VOX's distinctive clean/crunch sounds and also features a THICK mode that bypasses the tone control circuit and boosts the gain to obtain a thicker tone, achieving a rich variety of tonal character. Excellent expandability

Dedicated speaker cabinets
We've provided dedicated speaker cabinets that are the perfect match in both sound and looks for the Night Train G2 amplifier heads with their cool-looking mirror finish. The V212NT-G2 contains two of the G12H anniversary model speakers that were specially produced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Celestion Company, and is a great match for a high-gain tone. The V112NT-G2 contains one classic Celestion G12M greenback speaker. Both units feature a rounded retro exterior.

New suitcase-type handles overflowing with vintage feel
Like previous Night Train models, the NT15H-G2 and NT50H-G2 amp heads carry on the cool-looking modern design with VOX's trademark diamond grille and vacuum tube circuitry that's visible through the punched metal. The distinctive mirror finish has been changed to metallic black for an even more distinctive appearance on stage. All models use suitcase-type handles that are brimming with vintage appeal, providing these units with a truly distinctive look.

Ideal for finger drumming! At the push of a button, the 16 pads double up as drum playable drum pads. An important part of improving your playing ability is listening objectively to your own performance. Beat Boy makes it easy to record your guitar/bass sound and then play it back immediately. You can loop the playback for a desired region of the recorded sound and play it repeatedly for careful analysis, or you can practice by soloing over the loop as a backing pattern. The recorded sound can be loaded as a WAV file via USB into your computer and edited on your DAW software. Stunning Sound

It all begins with the sound. Korg’s sound quality is universally recognized as superior, and is relied on by musicians around the world. The Pa600QT gives you a rich, detailed, sophisticated, natural sound with musical instruments from almost every genre, exploding with depth, nuance, subtlety, and accuracy. The DNC (Defined Nuance Control) system adds finely tuned control, and provides various levels of articulation. Most importantly, besides the standard sounds of the Pa600, the Pa600QT is filled with percussion, wind and string instruments from many regions in the Middle East. Sounds are fully editable, and changes can be saved in the User area.

In creating the Pa600QT, Korg drew inspiration from the thousands of musicians in the Middle East who already use Korg Pa products. Produced by a team of the best musicians from various countries in the Middle East, the Pa600QT features a complete range of freshly produced instruments and Styles showcasing the sounds that make Middle Eastern music so energetic and exciting. These new sounds and Styles are provided in addition to all the sounds, Styles, FX and other features of the standard Pa600.

One of the most significant features of the Pa600QT is the addition of the Quarter Tone Sub Scale keyboard. A miniature keyboard has been added to the front panel; and each key is equipped with an LED indicator. This allows the user to quickly select the notes that will be flattened to the nearest Quarter Tone. This function is always available, so that the Quarter Tone selection can be made quickly and on the fly during live performances. In addition, four preset buttons provide one-touch access to the most commonly used Quarter Tone scales.

Effects
Great sound is more than just the quality of the sample data. For many years, Korg has produced outstanding, studio-quality effects that are simply breathtaking. The Pa600QT has four stereo Master Effect processors, with 125 effects including standards such as reverb, delay, and chorus, as well as some of the universally acclaimed REMS guitar-based effects for authentic guitar tones.

Each track features EQ with Low, Mid and High controls. A custom track EQ can be memorized in the general preferences for Song Play mode. This will help sculpt the sounds to your personal taste for any MIDI file you play. Need a lighter bass track? Save the desired equalization, and the bass will stay light with all the subsequent Songs.

A limiter and final 4-band parametric EQ have been added to the sound output of the Pa600QT. Its total sound can be enhanced by these powerful and musically refined processors, easily adapting to your musical taste, or compensating for a problematic live environment.

Styles
The Pa600QT delivers a new set of deluxe styles, programmed by some of the leading arrangers in the Middle East, each of whom worked according to their musical strengths. The result is hundreds of preloaded Styles that provide unparalleled realism and detail. Covering an expanded range of musical genres from all over the Middle East, the Pa600QT provides styles for almost every occasion. If you require a special Style collection, simply record and edit your own styles on board. For each Style, the user can access different intros and different endings; each playing in a different Arabic scale. The Pa600QT arranger keyboard also includes special regional Styles.

We add further realism to your performance with four Fills, Break, three Intros and three Endings. More flexibility is added by the choice of different transposition tables to suit any instrument characteristic, and the stunning Guitar Mode 2 adds a totally new perspective to how realistic Guitar tracks can sound. Easy To Use 

With all the technological power that’s packed inside, it was vital that we also made the Pa600QT easy to understand and use. Your experience using the Pa600QT should be intuitive, musical, fast and foolproof. The panel layout has been simplified, and our graphical user interface utilizes an amazing, graphical, color TouchView™ Display, so you simply think, point and click for easy and intuitive use. So that musicians of all levels can make great music quickly, there are two interface modes: Easy and Expert. Easy mode shows only the most important controls while keeping a clean and straightforward interface, useful for beginners or playing live. While in Expert mode, you have full editing control. Nothing stands between you and your professional performance. Switches are assignable so your live performances work the way you want, and when you don’t remember where a file, song or style was saved, just use the Search feature and let the Pa600QT find it for you.

Play Any Song, and View It as Traditional Music Notation
The player on board the Pa600QT can read MIDI, KAR and MP3 files. It can also read lyrics and chords from most of these files, and add markers on-the-fly to MIDI files. Traditional score viewing is also available for those who prefer to read music. The Score Viewer displays the lead track (or any other track) as clear and plain traditional musical notation with notes or chords, together with lyrics and chord abbreviations. Chord names can also be seen in different languages (English and Italian). For music learners, we’ve also added a function to show note names next to each note. 

SongBook 

This exciting feature was developed to make your life easier while playing live. The SongBook is a musical database that’s completely user programmable, containing all the settings needed to play a particular song. You only have to search for the title of the song you would like to play, select it and hit “Play”. SongBook can reference styles, MIDI files, or MP3s, and can immediately recall settings such as song title, genre, artist, tempo, volumes, sounds, muted tracks, effect settings, Easy Edit, STS*, master transpose, and more. Everything that you need to play your song perfectly is in the SongBook; a useful musical feature that is unique to Korg. (*STS - Single Touch Settings is a memory that recalls sounds for all the real time tracks (Upper 1, 2, 3 & Lower).)
