CASIO Privia Digital Piano PX-5SWE

Price List Rp.16.425.000
CASIO Privia Digital Piano PX-5SWE
Sound Technology
Unprecedented Natural Reproduction of the Rich Expressive Power and Resonance of an Acoustic Piano. Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR* Sound Source

Casio developed its Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source to seamlessly reproduce the natural changes in the tone, volume and timbre of a grand piano from the moment a note sounds, through its beautiful sustain, until it finally vanishes away. Even the length of the reverberation can be controlled like an acoustic piano by adjusting the force of the keystroke. Players can also control the sustain of beautifully resonating tones according to their performance styles by using the piano’s built-in String Resonance function, which simulates the distinct reverberations of all 88 keys of the keyboard, a function that reproduces the resonant effect of a damper pedal.
* AiR = Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator

Featuring a wide range of high-quality preset sounds
The Privia PRO PX-5S has a maximum polyphony of 256 notes, making it a highly expressive instrument for performing.

  • 20 acoustic piano presets capture the nuanced tonal variations and lingering reverberations of real pianos.
  • Also included are 60 keyboard instrument presets, including “electric piano,” which seamlessly reproduce the changes in tone quality according to the force of the keystroke, and “clavi,” which captures the tonal character when the finger leaves the key.
  • 50 Hex Layer presets layer as many as six tones for ensemble sounds.
  • Another 220 presets cover a wide variety of musical instruments including organs, strings, and guitars.
  • Users can also choose from 20 drum sets customized for a broad range of musical genres.

Special features make it easy for discerning performers to create sounds

  • The Digital Signal Processor (DSP) allows a wide range of effects to be applied to four different parts. It also comes with Master Effect for adjusting the EQ and Compressor, and System Effect for controlling delay, reverb and chorus.
  • Four-band equalizer enables independent adjustment of the low, low-mid, high-mid, and high frequency ranges.
  • Users can produce original Hex Layer sounds by combining as many as six preset tones.

Variety of functions useful for live performances
Sounds can be directly modulated during performance using the unit’s six sliders, four knobs, and two wheels.

  • The Envelope Response Pedal also enables control over volume and other parameters during performance.
  • Users can assign performance setups for up to four designated keyboard zones by using the Stage Setting Function.
  • The Phrase Sequencer lets users create and play back musical phrases to enhance their performances.
  • The Arpeggio function can automatically play arpeggios just by pressing keys.
  • The Privia PRO PX-5S can be used as a master keyboard to control the sounds and settings of externally connected MIDI instruments.

Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II

  • The Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II detects the force of keystrokes using three sensors per key to reproduce the distinct attack timing of acoustic and electric pianos.
  • The High-Resolution Velocity expresses the force of a keystroke over 16,256 gradations.
  • The Hammer Response reproduces the variations in the attack of the notes depending on how forcefully the notes are struck and the register of the keyboard.
  • The Key Off Simulator simulates the changes in tone according to how fast the finger leaves the key.
  • The instrument’s black and white keys look and feel like real ebony and ivory for a luxurious feel and texture as well as a smooth touch.

Key Off Simulator reproducing tonal variations resulting from finger release
The lengths of the reverberations and expressions a piano produces vary depending on the speed at which players release their fingers after touching the keys. The new keyboard system incorporates a Key Off Simulator that reproduces these nuances resulting from key release naturally. Authentic reverberations that feel just like those of a grand piano are expressed as a result.

Simulated ebony and ivory keys with optimal fingertip fit for playing ease
The Simulated ebony and ivory keys offers the luxurious feel and texture as well as the smooth touch of a grand piano keyboard. The minutely detailed crimp surface finish inhibits finger slippage due to sweat and gives the sensation of a perfect fingertip fit, even when playing for extended periods.

Optimal for a wide range of playing conditions and performing styles
The instrument is lightweight and slim at 11.1 kilograms and 28.6 centimeters deep, making it convenient for carrying to the stage or studio.

  • The instrument can be powered by either an AC adaptor or batteries, a convenient option for performing on the street and other outdoor settings.
  • The Audio Recording function saves piano performances on a USB flash drive.
  • Various input and output terminals enable connection of MIDI-compatible electronic instruments and audio players and equipment.
  • Portable audio players or MIDI devices can be placed on the rubber holding space.

The PX-750 provides split and layer capability allowing you to play bass in your left hand and have two layered tones in your right. Duet mode splits the keyboard into two equal ranges, allowing student and teacher to use the piano simultaneously. A two track recorder can even record and playback your practice and performances. The matching keyboard cover, stand and pedal board make this a complete digital piano that is a welcome addition to any home dècor.

USB MIDI
Casio continues the tradition of providing “class compliant” USB connectivity on Privia digital pianos. This allows Privia to be used with Mac or Windows computers without the need to download drivers. Class Compliant USB MIDI also allows Privia digital pianos to be used as a controller for the Apple iPad by using Apple’s Camera Connection Kit.

CASIO CELVIANO AP-650MBK Digital Piano

Price List Rp.21.050.000
CASIO CELVIANO AP-650MBK Digital Piano
The rich, differentiated sound palette of the top model in the CELVIANO series offers hearing pleasure far superior to that of standard digital pianos. The grand piano-style richness of the sounds and resonances is complemented by a well-balanced automatic accompaniment feature which offers endless possibilities for musical expression with its 250 tones and 180 rhythms. From grand piano to general MIDI.

Sound Technology
Unprecedented Natural Reproduction of the Rich Expressive Power and Resonance of an Acoustic Piano

Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source
The characteristics of CASIO’s newly developed Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR* Sound Source reflect thorough attention to detail in expressing the rich, resonating tones inherent to the piano. The capacity of the installed memory has been expanded to achieve a longer sampling duration and enhanced waveform data quality. The temporal changes in tone that create sound you would expect only from a piano, beginning with the initial sound and leading into a beautiful extension until the sound eventually vanishes, are reproduced naturally. learn more
* AiR = Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator

Keyboard System
Natural Playing Feel Approaching That of a Grand Piano Firm Touch That Converts the Player’s Thoughts into Sound

Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II, with a grand piano's unique sounding timing
The difference between the sound structures of a grand piano and a digital piano appears as a difference in timing, from the moment the instrument is played until the sound is audible. The new Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II responds by incorporating a system with three sensors that detect touches of the keys sequentially. learn more

Lid Simulator* reproducing the sound effects resulting from an open lid
The sound volume and quality change when the lid on a grand piano is raised or lowered. The Lid Simulator reproduces the same acoustic effects for enhanced enjoyment with a digital piano. The acoustic effects of opening and closing the lid are simulated in fine detail. The piano sound you are seeking as you play is always available for your enjoyment by selecting the degree to which the lid is raised or lowered.

* The Lid Simulator setting value remains unchanged, regardless of whether the lid on the piano body is open or closed. An unprecedented evolution of the digital piano
String Resonance* resonator achieving deep, rich resonance with 88 keys
The sound produced by an acoustic piano is not only the sound associated with the keys that are struck. Other strings with frequencies closely associated with those producing the sounds resonate as well, adding their sound to give the music a uniquely rich resonance. In ordinary digital pianos, this string resonance effect is reproduced virtually with strings. The Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR sound source takes a different approach, however, by adopting a “string resonance” system incorporating a stereo resonance simulator for all 88 keys. The resonance of the 88 keys is reproduced completely and naturally. The resonance realized by playing a single tone is differentiated from that realized by playing a chord to reproduce the resulting variations in resonance in a natural manner. This even enables players to achieve varying resonances, controlling them at will by the strength of their touch, and thus to realize performances with the unique expressiveness of an acoustic piano.

Damper Resonance*1 achieving a more naturally beautiful resonance than a pedal
The deep, beautiful resonance resulting from the use of a damper pedal is also reproduced naturally by a stereo resonance simulator installed on all 88 keys, an approach that differs from conventional simulated reproduction employing effect processing. The attention to detail goes so far as to simulate the resonance created by the lifting of the dampers themselves when the pedal is pressed. A continuously variable system has been adopted for the damper pedal, moreover, reproducing even the subtle changes in reverberation that occur in response to the delicate pressure exerted by partial pedal operation. This enables players to employ pedal operation to achieve gracefully expressive performances.
*1 4 adjustment levels.
