Roland SP-404SX Linear Wave Sampler

Price ist Rp.4.720.000
Roland SP-404SX Linear Wave Sampler
Turbocharging the World’s Most Popular Portable Sampler
Roland’s acclaimed SP-404 performance sampler takes an exciting leap forward with the new SP-404SX. In addition to the fun, fast, hands-on features of the original, the new model offers enhanced sound quality with pure 16-bit linear sampling, improved DSP effects, smooth FX switching, a more versatile pattern sequencer (with a new shuffle feature), and easier data management with SD-card compatibility. It’s a creatively stimulating, powerful tool for DJs, musicians, producers, and live-sound engineers who trigger jingles.

  • Sample anytime, anywhere with the built-in mic and battery power
  • 29 DSP effects, including filter, delay, unique voice effects, subsonic, and looper
  • 3 control knobs, 12 trigger pads, and Sub Pad for rapid repeat triggering
  • Seamless effects switching for smooth, perfect performance
  • Pattern sequencer with quantize mode and new shuffle feels
  • 1GB SD card included; expand sample storage up to 32GB with SDHC
  • Import audio files from computer, assign samples to pads with bundled software (Mac/PC)

Instant Sampling
Sample anywhere, anytime using the SP-404SX’s built-in microphone. And since the SP-404SX can run on AC or battery power (six AA batteries), it’s easy to record wherever and whenever inspiration strikes. Just power-up, point, and record. Line and mic inputs are also available for recording direct or with an external microphone. The SP-404SX’s sampling format is uncompressed wave for high-quality audio capture.

Hands-On Performance
The SP-404SX is made to be played — it’s packed with interactive controls for jamming along with loops and patterns. Put your fingers on the three non-slip control knobs, 12 trigger pads, and Sub Pad for rapid repeat triggering in real time. On dark stages or DJ booths, the SP-404SX is a performers dream with its illuminated rubber pads and bright LED screen.

Extreme Effects
Create a signature sound using the SP-404SX’s 29 DSP effects, which switch seamlessly during live performance. Essential onboard effects include spacious reverbs and choruses, plus filters and delays. There are also unique, esoteric effects built in, including a voice transformer and looper. With the DJFX Looper, you can create short loops (such as machine-gun-like “da-da-da-da-da” sounds) and control reverse-playback with the knob. You can also create scratch effects like a turntable. Connect the SP-404SX to a DJ mixer and use it as an effect processor. Seventeen of the effects have a “limiter” mode, which keeps the effects from overloading. This is great for live DJ performance when you don’t want to lose control of the effects in the heat of the moment.

Trackbuilder

In addition to the endless supply of loops you can pack into the SP-404SX, you can also create your own tracks in real time with the Pattern Sequencer, complete with quantize mode, which includes shuffle feels. Creating patterns is done in real time. You can loop two measures (maximum 99 measures), for example, then play and record only the bass drum and the snare. Next, add the hi-hat over the top, and keep adding more instruments while the SP-404SX loops. You can store 120 patterns (12 patterns x 10 banks). When you play a pattern with the Pattern Sequencer, the LEDs surrounding the display blink according to the tempo, which is handy during live performance.

SD Card Memory
Start sampling right away with the included 1GB SD card. You can easily expand the sampling time using up to 32GB SDHC. Import audio files from your computer using the included software (Mac/PC) and assign them to the SP-404SX’s pads. WAV and AIFF files are accepted. The software is fast and easy to use, as it displays the SP-404SX’s pads onscreen. You can even use it to convert SP-404 format files to the SP-404SX.

Behringer TRUTH B2030A

Price List Rp.4.600.000 / Pair
Behringer TRUTH B2030A
When it comes to your studio recordings, you want honesty. In fact, considering how important your art is, you should demand it! That’s why we designed the B2030A Reference Monitors to speak nothing but the TRUTH. Oh, they still sound great hooked up to your stereo or your video surround system, but they were really built with the studio in mind—where every note you play or sing is "under the microscope."
High-Resolution, Active 2-Way Reference Studio Monitor

  • Ultra-linear frequency response from 50 Hz to 21 kHz with individual frequency diagrams
  • Built-in 125-Watt Bi-amp module with enormous power reserve
  • Ultra high-resolution ferrofluid-cooled tweeter
  • Long-throw 6 ¾" woofer with special polypropylene diaphragm and deformation-resistant aluminum die-cast chassis
  • Controlled dispersion characteristics and extremely large "sweet spot" owing to the unique BEHRINGER wave guide technology
  • Active crossover network with 4th order Linkwitz-Riley filters
  • Adjustable to a wide range of acoustic conditions and subwoofer operation
  • Separately controlled limiter for low and high frequency overload protection
  • Magnetic shielding allows placement near computer monitors
  • Servo-balanced inputs with XLR and ¼" TRS connectors
  • High-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction ensure long life

Built on a Legacy
The TRUTH B2030A has all the great features of a standard-sized active TRUTH monitor packed into an even more compact cabinet! Due to their high-resolution performance, B2030A active 2-way reference studio monitors are perfect for nearfield monitoring applications: from small mixing environments to multi-channel surround setups. Our TRUTH B2030A monitors have been so wildly successful that we’ve sold thousands upon thousands of them to some of the most critical ears on the planet.

Don’t Let the Size Fool You
Despite its small size, the TRUTH B2030A can achieve a peak output level in excess of 113 dB SPL. Powered by built-in 80- and 35-Watt amplifiers combined with a high-precision active crossover, these monitors provide ultra-linear frequency response from 50 Hz to 21 kHz.

We Call it a Speaker Graduation Diploma
After final assembly, each B2030A spends up to a half hour with a Calibration Engineer being meticulously tweaked to ensure ultra-linear frequency response.
When you buy a TRUTH B2030A monitor, you’re truly getting a hand-calibrated unit. We ship a calibration certificate with each B2030A that shows the actual frequency response of your monitor, as tested at the time of manufacture. After all these rigorous tests, only then is the speaker granted its own Graduation Diploma.

Rock-Solid Bass
Bookshelf-style home stereo speakers can really fool you when it comes to bass output, mainly because they are not designed for critical listening applications. That’s why recording engineers and producers listen to projects through studio reference monitors or studio-grade headphones. The B2030A’s long-throw 6.75" polypropylene-diaphragm woofer delivers smooth, deep bass all the way down to 50 Hz. Bass content that isn’t exaggerated, as it can be in home speaker systems. Rock-solid bass that is an honest representation of the recorded sound, full of subtle nuance; the sound of fingers on the strings, or the rush of air through the long pipes of a cathedral organ, etc.

Why the Polypropylene Woofer?
We’re glad you asked. Polypropylene is light and strong, enabling the speaker cone to respond very quickly to fast transient peaks. This low-mass cone material is also much stiffer than paper, important for not only maintaining bass content integrity, but critical for midrange accuracy and definition. The deformation-resistant aluminum die-cast chassis maintains suspension integrity and provides highly efficient voice-coil cooling, even under extreme operating conditions.

Non-Fatiguing, Wide “Sweet Spot”
B2030A’s HF (High Frequency) content comes courtesy of an ultra high-resolution 0.75" ferrofluid-cooled tweeter mounted on our proprietary wave-guide. While some of our competitor’s studio monitors have a highly focused “sweet spot” (the optimal listening position for a pair of loudspeakers), our wave-guide is designed to create a much more generous, broader listening zone. That means you won’t wear a hole in the carpet in that one spot where everything sounds great. You are free to move around inside the stereo image to find the ideal spot in the mix for subtle instrument or effects placement opportunities.

You also won’t suffer the ravages of “monitor fatigue-syndrome,” an ailment that comes from listening to harsh high-mids and treble content for hours on end, even during those all-night mix-down sessions that can really test your nerves.

Expect the Best

We packed 115-Watts of bi-amped technology (including a time- and phase-optimized active crossover) into every B2030A, ensuring that you have the enormous power reserves you’ll need to drive them really hard. The unique BEHRINGER wave-guide and the extremely low-distortion crossover network produce an absolutely linear frequency response with excellent sound dispersion and stereo imaging.

Designed to Work in Your Environment

The ideal environment for listening is a room that is “flat,” neither too reflective (echoes) nor too absorptive (where the sound is muffled). But since all rooms are not the same acoustically, all TRUTH monitors come equipped to function in a wide variety of situations. Switches are provided to adapt the monitor’s low- and high-frequency characteristics for optimal performance specific to your listening environment.

Suited for All Placements

Ideally, all loudspeakers should be placed away from walls to ensure proper bass response. But fear not, B2030A monitors feature Room Compensation switches so you can place them against walls, or even in corners. Walls tend to enhance low-frequency content, and corners exaggerate bass even more, but your TRUTH monitor can be custom-tailored to provide honest bass response for your situation, with the simple flick of a switch or two.

XLR and 1/4" Inputs

The B2030A is equipped with servo-balanced inputs on XLR and ¼” TRS connectors to handle a variety of audio sources. Thanks to its compact size and magnetic shielding, the TRUTH B2030A can be placed near video monitors, computer displays or digital audio workstations.

Hearing is Believing

We could bore you to tears with all the technical jargon (if you like that stuff, you’re sure to enjoy the product spec sheet at the back of the manual), but hearing the TRUTH will make you a believer. We think you’ll agree that nothing in this class outperforms the B2030A monitors. Compare them to any competition and hear the TRUTH!

MUSIC TECH

September 2004
We tested the TRUTHs with a variety of music to see if they really do offer as flat a frequency curve as BEHRINGER promises. Ng off with Morrissey’s You Are the Quarry, we noticed a clear, punchy attack, especially in the midrange. […]
Morrissey’s voice was surrounded by space and airiness that you’d expect from a monitor costing a great deal more. This open sound was demonstrated to a greater degree when listening to a Naxos recording of Madam Butterfly: with the monitors showing a great deal of flexibility. Describe the TRUTHs’ sound in a few words? How about, forthright, energetic and flexible? […]
The TRUTHs aren’t going to suit everybody – there’s not a pair of monitors out there that can make that claim – which is why it’s so important to audition them before parting with your cash. But if nothing else, these speakers do deserve to be on that audition list. They proved sturdy, highly capable and, even after six hours in front of them in a single sitting, comfortable when used for extended periods of mixing.
[…] BEHRINGER has pulled off a minor miracle with these TRUTHs – they’re absolutely as good as you could expect for a smidgen over a ton a piece.
Verdict
For the price the new TRUTH is an absolute steal, offering high-quality, unfatiguing monitoring that’ll be hard to beat in terms of value for money.

SOUND ON SOUND

September 2004
Title: The new baby in BEHRINGER’s TRUTH monitor range offers great value for money and sleek good looks.
Reviews: SOUND ON SOUNDIf you are on a very tight budget, then the B2030As offer very good value and they can be made to perform perfectly adequately in smaller rooms, provided that you take due care with their placement and experiment with the EQ switch settings.
I think that the designers have used their available manufacturing budget extremely well in producing a useful and good-looking monitor at such a low UK price point […].
Verdict
You generally get what you pay for when it comes to monitors, but these new monitors do
seem to offer just a little bit more than you’d expect for the price.

And with the “Set-and-Forget” default setting, plus the Panic button, your FEEDBACK DESTROYER can be up and running in a matter of seconds.

Ease of Operation

The Auto Mode continuously monitors the mix, resetting programmed filters automatically, while the Manual Mode allows individual programming of up to 40 fully-parametric filters with frequency, bandwidth and gain adjustment. Open MIDI architecture makes future firmware updates and flexible communication with digital equipment exceedingly simple.

Be Prepared

With the FBQ2496's various modes, you can master just about any live sound situation or use the unit as a creative sound-shaping tool. A single FBQ2496 can protect you from feedback in both your mono PA mains and a monitor mix. And the FBQ2496 is more than just handy—it's affordable!

Sound on Sound

June 2006
It starts with the supplement "Sound on Sound LIVE" where the BEHRINGER FBQ2496 feedback destroyer gets tested in depth. In his conclusion, the tester Mike Crofts summarises: "With 24-bit, 96kHz operation, audio quality at this price point is beyond criticism in my book and with its automatic setup process I think this is an interesting and effective product. The 1/60 octave filters don't, for me, have any detrimental effect on the overall sound, and they're extremely fast in operation. As with all gear for the road, only time will tell if it's exactly right for you, or me, but my first impressions are definitely favourable and I'll be using the FBQ2496as much as possible until they take it off me!"
Within the magazine itself, the Editor-in-Chief Paul White gives the XENYX 2442FX an extensive try on its launch month in the UK. Having used the UB mixers at a friend's studio, Paul was already familiar with the BEHRINGER mixer range, but here he recognizes the enhancements made to the newest generation: "The included two-channel USB audio interface was recognized immediately by my Mac system, without the need to add any driver software, and the subjective audio quality I achieved from it was surprisingly good. In all, I feel the upgrade to this already workmanlike little mixer has been highly worthwhile and within its price range it now offers a lot of flexibility for both the home studio owner and the band looking for a small live sound mixer with integral effects".
