Supernatural Piano Onboard
The HPi-50 features Roland’s SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine for seamless velocity response, natural note decay, and authentic key-range behavior, delivering perfect piano sound and expression. As you play, the tone color changes naturally in response to your touch, from the softest notes to the loudest. Tone decay is also natural and organic, with the sound not only decreasing in volume, but also gradually softening in tone as the notes fade away. With SuperNATURAL Piano technology, every note has its own character, faithful to the performance of a real acoustic grand.

Magnificent Touch With PHA III
Further enhancing the SuperNATURAL Piano experience is the flagship PHA III (Progressive Hammer Action III) Ivory Feel keyboard with Escapement. With its fast key repetition and sensitivity, this keyboard faithfully translates the subtle tonal differences of different playing styles and the force at which the keys are played. Additionally, the keys are finished with a unique material that has moisture-absorbing properties, offering the natural texture and tactile sensation of real ivory and ebony.

High-Resolution DigiScore
Roland’s DigiScore displays digital sheet music on the large, built-in color LCD. The resolution has been greatly enhanced over previous models, with the ability to show 32nd notes and up to 48 measures* of music at one time. In addition, the new Auto Sync feature ensures that the onscreen notation perfectly follows your performance regardless of your tempo, with the digital pages turned in sync as well. Onboard exercises make sharpening your skills challenging and fun, as do numerous features such as the graphical metronome, onscreen keyboard, fingering number display, and many others.

*48 measures can be shown when you choose to display notes only and set the notation screen display size to “small.”
