In 2009 Marshall worked together with the West Coast thrash legend to produce a world first in the form of a signature speaker cabinet, new for 2010 the power and looks of Dave’s full sized rig HAVE been captured in a special edition signature MG Microstack. With the stealthy looks taken from Dave’s signature cabinet and sounds pre-programmed by Dave himself straight out of the box, the Megastack is a predator in miniature.
Now you can GET the looks and tone that Dave swears by and take it home without needing your own tour bus to get it there.

The Megastack is not just simply any amplifier rig. It is the perfect weapon for use at home or backstage, how do we know? Because Dave uses it himself ! The Megastack also provides something other amplifiers can’t. The appearance of a full rig. And don’t be fooled by its compact size with its 2 separate 10” speaker cabinets this stack delivers.
The Megastack provides droogies more power and more control. Each Megastack features a 3 stage EQ, identical to the kind that can be found on Dave’s JVM channels on his touring rig, independent Bass, Middle and Treble controls provide the ability to fine tune every aspect of your tone to suit your cravings.
A Megastack is an amplifier refuses to sacrifice tone, or that undeniable Marshall Amplification build quality, delivering both. Offering a programmable feature set utilising digital controls for precise adjustment to your sound. For each channel you can individually store your preferred settings by simply adjusting the front panel controls to your desired positions and then storing them into the unit. It’s as simple as pressing one button to store these sounds, and every control, apart from the master volume, will be recalled when you return to this channel. This allows you to set up your 4 different channels, each with their own EQ settings, and each with their own effects. For those people that want to access their settings using a foot pedal in true guitar hero fashion, the Megastack is compatible with the revolutionary STOMPWARE® enabled foot controller (sold separately) which utilises the exclusive Marshall Amplification patented storing and switching technology for seamless changes.
The Megastack also has the added bonus of a 3.5mm input socket and 3.5mm headphone socket allowing users to plug their MP3 player (or similar device) into the amplifier and play along to every Megadeth track from Killing Is My Business……….. And Business Is Good, through to Endgame. When you want to practice in silence, all you need to do is plug in your headphones, and bypassing the speakers of the rig allowing you to shred without disturbing the rest of the house. Once you have perfected you shred, unplug your headphones and crank the volume to let the world hear you, your guitar and your amplifier as they have never heard them before.
