ESP Edwards E-LP-92SD
A stunning Les Paul style instrument featuring hard Maple Top with Mahogany back. The neck is Mahogany which is set into the body of the guitar and as you would expect, the guitar rings and sustains in a lively way. The neck carve is something which one would describe as being between a traditional "59" or "60's" type, with the general feel of a "59" but the apex of the curve being slightly flatter. It is eminently comfortable and is sure to appeal to a wide audience. The top carve of the Edwards guitars is similar to the ESP Eclipse in that the outer edges start to flare back out away from the body slightly. This is quite unique to ESP and Edwards and gives a very precise aesthetic and feeling of quality to the overall appearance and feel of the guitar. The guitar is equipped with Gotoh hardware throughout which is of high quality and solid.
The pick ups are Seymour Duncan SH1 in the neck position and an SH4 in the bridge. Perhaps one of the most tried and tested pick up configurations of all time, the 59 in the neck provides warm and crystalline cleans, with warm distorted tones - all with a smooth sustain. Perfect for Blues and rock. The JB in the bridge is higher output and is an excellent all round rock pick up. Enough grunt to handle hard rock - yet clear and articulate enough for bluesier styles.
