Absolute Maple NouveauYamaha's professional drum line is expanded with addition of the new Absolute Maple Nouveau series featuring a thin 100% all Maple shell. These shells are constructed using the air-seal system ensuring the most consistent shell on the market.
Exterior Lacquer Finish
High gloss lacquer exterior finish allows shell to vibrate freely; professional look and sound.
Interior Natural Vintage Finish
Handcrafted vintage interior finish seals shell from humidity variations; enhances tone, dynamic range and sustain. A four to six month aging process results in a rich golden wood finish. This finish creates an extremely dynamic drum with a full wide-open tone and long decay characteristic of the vintage.
Aluminum die cast hoops
Aluminum die cast hoops give you the accurate tuning of a die cast hoop and the warm, open tone of a triple flange steel hoop.
Air-Seal System Shell
Guarantees shell is always round.
